Gwynfryn Bed and Breakfast ( BandB ) accommodation is a large 135 year old Victorian Conwy House which has been lovingly renovated into a 'Visit Wales' 4 Star Boutique BandB Guest House offering beautifully decorated comfortable bed and breakfast ( BandB ) accommodation within the historical town walls of Conwy.In January 2008 Gwynfryn Bed and Breakfast ( BandB ) won the prestigous 'Travelers 2008 Choice' award from the independent travelers review site 'Tripadvisor' after achieving 8th Best BandB in Euorpe. Which resulted in an invite from Her Majesty The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh to a reception at Buckingham Palace to celebrate the British Hospitality Industry where we represented Conwy and North Wales.. Our BandB guest house is ideally situated within the heart of Conwy town just off Lancaster Square. Close to all amenities, attractions and both the Conwy Train Station and the Conwy local bus route.Conwy is the perfect base for visiting all of North Wales including Snowdonia, Anglesey, Caernarfon, Llandudno, Deganwy and Betws-y-Coed but to name a few. All within easy reach of our BandB.Most famous for the magnificent Conwy Castle built by Edward I between 1283 - 1287 and also designated a World Heritage Site, Conwy can truly lay claim to being one of the finest remaining medieval walled towns. With a wealth of attractions that span the ages, events galore and a wide range of shops and restaurants all within a short walk.Our bed and breakfast ( BandB ) accommodation consists of five rooms which have been tastefully furnished in their own unique style. All of which have en-suite facilities except for one room which has its own separate private bathroom. All rooms include flat screen LCD TV with integrated DVD player, complementary beverage tray, mini fridge, electric fan, hairdryers, complementary toiletries and benefit from wireless broadband (wi-fi enabled). Directions

We are located within the town walls of Conwy off Lancaster Square next to Alfredo's Italian Restaurant. Access to Conwy is now easier than ever using the A55 which links to the motorway network. Both Manchester International and Liverpool John Lennon Airport are within a 90 minute drive from Conwy.When approaching Conwy from the Llandudno side (East) or A55 Junction 18 follow the A546, across the first roundabout turning left at the second roundabout onto Conwy Road (A547). Upon crossing the Estuary bridge you will see Conwy Castle on your left, at the mini-roundabout follow the road around to the right into the one way traffic system (Rosehill Street), which will lead you into Conwy Town. After passing the car park you will see the 'Conwy Visitors Centre' on the left where you need to turn right opposite into Church Road. Follow this small cobbled road to the end and turn left then immediately turn right at the red post box onto another small cobbled road. This is York Place and will allow you drive up past Alfredo's Italian Restaurant where you can then stop outside our door.When approaching Conwy from the Caernavon side (West) or A55 Junction 17, follow Bangor Road (A547) for approx. 2 miles. Upon approaching the town walls follow the road to the left into Town Ditch Road and then this will then lead you back into the Town Walls into Berry Street. Take the second right into High Street and then the third right into York Place (this is a small cobbled road with red post box at the end). You will then see Gwynfryn BandB on your right. Conwy Railway Station is located on the other side of Lancaster Square at the junction of Rose Hill Street and Rosemary Lane, within 50 yards of Gwynfryn BandB. Although not all trains call direct at Conwy there are regular service from all the major CitiesTowns to Llandudno Junction which is situated on the other side of the estuary bridge approx. 1 mile from Conwy. From Llandudno Junction a connecting shuttle service can be used to Conwy or both taxi and buses run direct from the train station. Buses travel through Conwy stopping at Lancaster Square opposite Gwynfryn Bed and Breakfast.
